Hordeolum or Stye
Introduction:-
In this disease, pimples appear on one side of the upper or lower eyelids means small pimples appear in the glands providing moisture to the eyes which is called Hordeolum or Stye. It does not affect vision until it affects the eyes.
Causes of Stye:-
Mostly, this disease is caused by bacteria. It is also due to exposure to cold and excess weakness in the body.
Symptoms of Stye:-
When this disease occurs, the eyelids become red, pain begins and unbearable swelling and blister occurs. After some days, pus is filled in these blisters. Itching sensation also occurs on the eyelids.
Treatment of Stye with different drugs:-
1. Pulsatilla:- 6-30 potency of Pulsatilla should be used to cure this disease. This drug can also cure stye of the left eye.
2. Hepar-sulphur:- If Pulsatilla fails, Hepar-sulphur 6 should be used to cure Stye.
3. Sulphur:- If boils are appearing again and again in the condition of Stye and become hard after dry, 30 potency of sulphur should be used. This drug should be also used in the case of stye on the upper eyelids.
4. Staphysagria:- If boils are appearing again and again in the condition of Stye and become hard after dry, using Staphysagria 6 is beneficial. This drug should be also used if stye occurred in the lower eyelids. If haltingly (periodic) pain occurs like scratching, Staphysagria drug should be used to cure this type of symptom. This drug also cures stye completely occurring again and again.
5. Mercurius:- If stye has occurred on the upper eyelids, using Mercurius 3 provides benefit.
6. Causticum:- Causticum 6 should be used to cure stye occurring on the upper eyelids.
7. Alumina:- Alumina 6 should be used to cure stye occurring on the upper eyelids resulting stye is cured.
8. Phosphorus:- 6 potency of Phosphorus should be taken in the condition of occurring stye on the eyes downwards.
9. Rhus-tox:- If stye has occurred on the eyes downward, Rhus-tox 6 should be used.
10. Lycopodium:- 12 potency of Lycopodium should be used in the condition of stye occurring in the corner of the eye. This drug can be used on maturing stye and forming pus in it. To cure stye in the left eye, this drug can be used too.
11. Stannum:- Using Stannum 6 is beneficial to cure stye occurring in the corner of the eyes.
12. Hepar:- Hepar 6 is very useful in the condition of stye as well as pus in it forming in the corners of the eyes. If the patient is feeling pain like dripping in the condition of stye and this pain ameliorates by using hot things, this drug can be used. This drug can be also used in the condition of occurring stye in the corners of the eyes and upper eyelids.
13. Merc-sol:- Merc-sol should be used in the condition of stye in the corners of the eyes with forming pus in it.
14. Poltis:- Stye is burst by the use of Poltis drug or foments it with hot water then applies lukewarm ghee on it. Stye is healed soon.
15. Menyanthes:- Menynthes should be used in the feeling of stable eyelids and seems as if stye has occurred.
16. Sepia:- If the eyelids become red with occurring stye, Sepia should be used.
17. Amon-carb:- Amon-carb should be used in the feeling of strain in the condition of stye. This drug can be also used to cure stye occurring in the right eye.
18. Calc-carb:- To cure stye in the right eye, Calc-carb should be used resulting it is cured.
19. Natrum-mur:- Using Natrum-mur provides benefit in the condition of stye in the right eye.
20. Cantharis:- Cantharis can be used to cure stye of the right eye resulting the patient gets benefit.
21. Tepliz:- Tepliz can be used to cure stye of the right eye.
22. Zigia:- Zigia should be used to cure stye of the right eye resulting it is cured.
23. Graphites or Sulphur:- If stye occurs repeatedly after curing, to cure it completely, Graphites or Sulphur should be used resulting this type of repeatedly stye is cured.
24. Ilapse:- Ilapse should be used to cure stye of the left eye.
25. Uranium-nitricum:- Powder of Uranium-nitricum 3x can be used to cure stye of the left eye.
26. Pulsatilla:- Pulsatilla 200 should be used to cure stye occurring on the eyelids.
27. Staphysagria:- If stye is not cured by Puls, 30 potency of Staphysagria should be used resulting, this disease gets well. By the use of this drug, all types of stye can cure whether it occurs on the lower eyelids, upper eyelids, acute or chronic.
28. Hepar:- If Puls or Staphysagria makes no impression, Hepar Sulph 200 should be used.
What should we do or not in the condition of stye:-
1. In this disease, the patient should foment for 10 minutes daily 3 to 4 times.
2. The eyes should be washed daily.
3. The patient should eat fruits, vegetables and drink juice because it enhances the ability of prophylactic.
4. The patient should not give his/her clothes and towel to anyone for use and should not use this type of things of others.
5. He/she should not do any type of make up over the eyes. If it is necessary to do this, wash and clean it properly later.
6. The patient should take vitamin A and C in his/her diet.
7. If these pimples are not disappear and swelling will affect your vision and stye is occurring repeatedly, consult a doctor and should take treatment.

Exophthalmic Goitre
Introduction:-
This disease can occur due to disordering of the body organs and as hereditary. The eyes are also affected more in this disease. In this disease, the throat of the patient gets glands which affect more on the cheek, the patient becomes irritable temperament, pulse rate raised from 120 to 160 per minute, the heart beats, appearing small red pimples on the face, enlargement of the throat glands, the eyeballs seems as if coming out and the eyelids seems as if stretches inward, hands begin to shiver, the body becomes leans, anemia, nausea, sometimes feels fever or loose motions and sometimes mucus membrane becomes swell too.
Treatment of Exophthalmic Goitre:-
Sometimes this type of disease is cured by itself without taking any drugs. Bell, Veret-vir, Glonoine, Lycopus-vergi, etc. drugs should be used in the initial stage of this disease and to cure its chronic stage, drugs like-Natrum-mur 3 or 200, Sulphur 30, Sepia 30, etc. should be used resulting this type of disease is cured. If well chosen remedy makes no impression, surgery or X-ray is appropriate. In this disease, the patient should not used stimulants and should take as much rest as he can.

Due to this disease, things do not visible clearly and the patient feels as if fog is spread before the eyes. Well, there is confusion about the reason of this disease but often this disease is due to sickness of the body. It can also occur with some other diseases.
Causes:-
The main reasons of this disease are dripping diabetic mellilotus drugs as- anti-blood pressure, anti-depression and staridus, etc. in the eyes for a long time. This disease also occurs due to cataract. It can also occurs due to stare something for a long time, doing eyes work in dim light, weakness of the body, watching TV, reading in dim light and pressure on the eyes.
Symptoms of Glaucoma:-
The patient suffering from this disease feels slight pain in one eye or around it, vision gets dim. The symptoms of this disease are ameliorated while sleeping or taking rest. The eyeballs become wide in the condition of this disease, discharging more tears, seems circle around the light. The patient feels nauseate and pain in his head and vomiting. The eyelids also become swell.
Use of different drugs in the case of glaucoma:-
1. Gelsemium:- If the patient is suffering from glaucoma with occurring pain which starts from the back part of the neck to the head, Gelsemium 3 or 30 should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
2. Spigelia:- If pain is occurring in the left section of the head due to glaucoma, Spigelia 3 or 30 should be taken to cure such symptoms of the disease.
3. Spynoza:- If Spigelia fails in the case of glaucoma and the patient is feeling pain in the right eye as if it will be broken up, to cure such symptoms of disease, giving Spynoza 6 is beneficial.
4. Colocynth:- If the patient is suffering from glaucoma with sciatica pain, to cure this type of symptom, using Colocynth 6 or 30 is very effective.
5. Cyclamen:- If fog or smoke is visible, using Cyclamen 3 is beneficial to cure this type of symptom of disease.
6. Aconite:- Aconite 6 should be used in the condition of glaucoma.
7. Argent-nit:- Argent-nit 6 can be used in the case of glaucoma.
8. Phosphorus:- Using Phosphorus 6 is very effective in the condition of glaucoma.
9. Belladonna:- Using Belladonna 6 is very effective in the case of glaucoma and if the eyes are not able to see properly.
10. Physostigma:- If the patient’s vision is weak or who is not able to see object properly far away or suffers from glaucoma, Physostigma 3 or 6 should be used.
What should be done or should not be done in the condition of glaucoma:-
In the condition of this disease, the patient should take the treatment according to the advice of a doctor.
If the patient is suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure with glaucoma, firstly these diseases should be treated before the treatment of glaucoma.
The patient should not do any work like reading and writing in the dim light.
The patient suffering from this disease should not watch television in a dark room.
Avoid smoking or drinking because these help to aggravate the diseases of the eyes.
The patient should take green leafy vegetables, fruits, eatables contains Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, grapes, lemon, orange, calcium,, etc. in his diet. Taking several types of exercises related to the eyes is also beneficial. For exercise, the eyes should be moved up and down, right and left and in a circular way. The neck should be also moved in a circular or semi-circular way. The patient should take fresh air and should take exercise in the morning. 1. Borthrops:- If the patient is not able to see things, he should use Borthrops 6 or 30 to cure this disease. Borthrops is a type of snake poison like Lachesis and is an important remedy of this disease.
2. Silicea:- Using Silicea 30 is beneficial in day blindness.
3. Phosphorus:- To cure day blindness, Phosphorus 6 should be used.
4. Silica:- Silica 30 should be used to cure this disease.
5. Sulphuric-acid:- Taking Sulphuric-acid 6 is very useful to cure day blindness.
6. Belladonna:- To cure day blindness, using Belladonna 30 is very effective.
7. Stramo:- Stramo 6 should be used to cure day blindness.

Cataract
Introduction:-
The red mucous membrane inside both the eyelids is called ‘Conjunctiva’. The white part in the eyes is called ‘Cornea’. There is a hole presents on the cornea which is called ‘Iris’. There is a lens presents in the eyes through which the images of outer objects falls on the retina resulting we see that object. These lens start to become opaque slowly in old age due to which objects becomes faded (misty). When these lenses become opaque completely, object does not visible. It is called ‘Cataract’. Thus, homoeopathic drugs are used to protect it from becoming opaque.
Cataract occurs due to weakness of the body or falling health. It is not only the eyes disease because it not occur in healthy body. This disease also occurs due to several reasons like- arthritis, vat disease, syphilis, etc. We can avoid cataract by preventing these disease.
There are also other three reasons of occurring cataract:-
Use of additional salt in the diet:- Due to using excess salt in the diet affects the eyes badly, due to which the lens becomes dry, rigid, dry the water of the lens, etc., .
cataract occurs.
Taking additional quantity of sweet things:- The lens of a person, who has excess sugar in his body, becomes opaque soon.
Drinking hard water:- Hard water contains excess lime. The people, who live on the mountain, drink water of water falls which contains lime and become the patient of cataract.
Some tips of protection from cataract:-
1. Additional salt should not be taken in the diet.
2. Excess sweet eatables should not be used.
3. Sugar should be taken in little quantity.
4. Hard water (which contains lime) should not be drunk.
5. Fruits juice should be drunk in large quantity.
6. Other treatment related to the eyes should be used to cure this disease.
7. The patient should not do reading and writing work in dim light.
8. The patient should not do any work which pressurizes the eyes.
9. Small and zigzag letters should not be read.
Use of different drugs to cure cataract:-
1. Silicea:- This drug cures cataract. Well, there is no any certain drug to cure cataract. It is true that the symptoms of any drug given to the patient should similar to the symptoms of disease. Like Silicea is beneficial in the condition of cataract occurring due to suppression of legs sweat or in the condition of other symptoms of this drug. 6 potency of this drug should be used in cataract.
2. Sulphur:- Sulphur 30 or 200 should be used. To cure cataract, Sulphur is used besides Silicea. If the symptoms of cataract occur due to suppression of any skin disease with the help of different types of lotions and ointment, Sulphur is beneficial in this condition. It can be possible that after giving sulphur, skin disease occurred and cataract is cured. Addition to it, giving Sulphur 200 and Calcarea 30 after every 5-5 hours at an interval of every 15 days is beneficial.
3. Cannabis Sativa:- If cataract occurs due to drinking or taking tobacco or nervous demerits by which the patient is suffering from blindness, pressure on the eyes; or if cataract has occurred due to swelling of the eyes by any way, using 3 potency of this drug helps to cure it.
4. Euphrasia:- If fogginess is due to becoming the cornea opaque, water comes out from the eyes which is inflammatory, pus like fluid is discharging from the eyes, the eyes are winking repeatedly, the eyes are feeling pressure, using 3, 6 or 200 potency of this drug is beneficial to cure cataract. It is also beneficial to wash the eyes with 10 drops of this drug after adding in 28 ml of water.
5. Calcarea carb:- Peoples whose glands have enlarged; T.B. is absent, but symptoms like it present, Calcarea carb 30 or 200 should be used to treat such symptoms of the patient. This drug should not be used in excess. All the following three drugs like-Merc sol, Calcarea and Phosphorus, etc. is used to cure cataract but as high potency, 1m or 10m of this drug should be used according to the physical structure of the patient. Phos can be also used after Calcarea if needed.
6. Colchicum:- To cure cataract, Colchicum 1-3 should be used.
7. Zincum sulph:- By the use of Zincum sulph C.M., cataract and opaque of the cornea is cured.
8. Agauksi:- Using Agauksi 12 is beneficial to cure cataract.
9. Sinereria succus:- Cataract is cured completely by dripping 2 drops of the mother tincture of this drug 4-5 times in a day for 5-6 months. This drug is also used in Allopathic treatment. Sinereria succus is known to be such a drug which keeps the eyes fresh.

Cataract occurs due to weakness of the body or falling health. It is not only the eyes disease because it not occur in healthy body. This disease also occurs due to several reasons like- arthritis, vat disease, syphilis, etc. We can avoid cataract by preventing these disease.
There are also other three reasons of occurring cataract:-
Use of additional salt in the diet:- Due to using excess salt in the diet affects the eyes badly, due to which the lens becomes dry, rigid, dry the water of the lens, etc., .
cataract occurs.
Taking additional quantity of sweet things:- The lens of a person, who has excess sugar in his body, becomes opaque soon.
Drinking hard water:- Hard water contains excess lime. The people, who live on the mountain, drink water of water falls which contains lime and become the patient of cataract.
Some tips of protection from cataract:-
1. Additional salt should not be taken in the diet.
2. Excess sweet eatables should not be used.
3. Sugar should be taken in little quantity.
4. Hard water (which contains lime) should not be drunk.
5. Fruits juice should be drunk in large quantity.
6. Other treatment related to the eyes should be used to cure this disease.
7. The patient should not do reading and writing work in dim light.
8. The patient should not do any work which pressurizes the eyes.
9. Small and zigzag letters should not be read.
Use of different drugs to cure cataract:-
1. Silicea:- This drug cures cataract. Well, there is no any certain drug to cure cataract. It is true that the symptoms of any drug given to the patient should similar to the symptoms of disease. Like Silicea is beneficial in the condition of cataract occurring due to suppression of legs sweat or in the condition of other symptoms of this drug. 6 potency of this drug should be used in cataract.
2. Sulphur:- Sulphur 30 or 200 should be used. To cure cataract, Sulphur is used besides Silicea. If the symptoms of cataract occur due to suppression of any skin disease with the help of different types of lotions and ointment, Sulphur is beneficial in this condition. It can be possible that after giving sulphur, skin disease occurred and cataract is cured. Addition to it, giving Sulphur 200 and Calcarea 30 after every 5-5 hours at an interval of every 15 days is beneficial.
3. Cannabis Sativa:- If cataract occurs due to drinking or taking tobacco or nervous demerits by which the patient is suffering from blindness, pressure on the eyes; or if cataract has occurred due to swelling of the eyes by any way, using 3 potency of this drug helps to cure it.
4. Euphrasia:- If fogginess is due to becoming the cornea opaque, water comes out from the eyes which is inflammatory, pus like fluid is discharging from the eyes, the eyes are winking repeatedly, the eyes are feeling pressure, using 3, 6 or 200 potency of this drug is beneficial to cure cataract. It is also beneficial to wash the eyes with 10 drops of this drug after adding in 28 ml of water.
5. Calcarea carb:- Peoples whose glands have enlarged; T.B. is absent, but symptoms like it present, Calcarea carb 30 or 200 should be used to treat such symptoms of the patient. This drug should not be used in excess. All the following three drugs like-Merc sol, Calcarea and Phosphorus, etc. is used to cure cataract but as high potency, 1m or 10m of this drug should be used according to the physical structure of the patient. Phos can be also used after Calcarea if needed.
6. Colchicum:- To cure cataract, Colchicum 1-3 should be used.
7. Zincum sulph:- By the use of Zincum sulph C.M., cataract and opaque of the cornea is cured.
8. Agauksi:- Using Agauksi 12 is beneficial to cure cataract.
9. Sinereria succus:- Cataract is cured completely by dripping 2 drops of the mother tincture of this drug 4-5 times in a day for 5-6 months. This drug is also used in Allopathic treatment. Sinereria succus is known to be such a drug which keeps the eyes fresh.
Pterygium
Introduction:-
The main reason of this disease is becoming the conjunctiva stiff. In the condition of this disease, a triangular section in the corner of the eyes towards the nose becomes rigid which is called.
Use of different drugs to cure Pterygium:-
1. Argentums Nitricum:- Using Argentums Nitricum 3 or 30 is beneficial to cure pterygium.
2. Euphrasia:- Euphrasia 6 should be used to treat pterygium.

1. Physostigma:- To cure myopia, Physostigma 3x should be taken at an interval of every 4-4 hours. In this disease, nearer objects do not visible clearly and objects which is far away from the patient visible clearly.
2. Pylocarpus:- When the patient sees any object, after sometimes the shape of that object goes on observing. Objects far away from the patient visible foggy, vision become unclear after sometimes. The eyes get tiredness soon by doing writing and reading work. Due to excess use of the eyes, heat and burning sensation start feeling in them. Thus, to cure such types of symptoms, Pylocarpus 30 can be used.

1. Gelsemium- To cure this disease, Gelsemium 3x or 30 should be used.
2. Rhus-tox- If Gelsemium makes no impression, use Rhus-tox 30. It will provide relief definitely.
3. Sepia- If this disease is due to irregularity of menstruation and the forehead feels slight pain, taking Sepia 200 provides relief.
4. Causticum- If Ptosis has occurred in the condition of paralysis, Causticum 30 can be used. The drugs like- Alumina, Conium, Calca-phos, Nitric-acid, Causticum, Nux, Phosphorus, Sepia, Zincum, etc. can be also used. To cure this type of disease, first of all, Gelsemium should be used otherwise there is a possibility of attacking paralysis in the eyes.

Introduction:-
The eyelids which rise up and close become swell. This swelling is called ‘Conjunctivitis’. This swelling occurs in the internal layer of the eyelids.
The eyelids which open upwards are closed due to swelling. In the condition of this type swelling (conjunctivitis), first of all, the eyes should be washed with the lotion of Boric-acid. To prepare lotion, mix 0.48 g Boric acid in 28 ml lukewarm water. This lotion should be used to cure this disease.
Use of different drugs in conjunctivitis:-
First of all, this drug should be used to treat conjunctivitis. If conjunctivitis has occurred due to operation (surgery) of the eyes, exposure to cold or dry cold air and the patient feels burning sensation in the eyes, dryness in the eyelids and he is feeling as if sand particles are pricking in the eyes, pain is as much violent as he is not able to tolerate it and says as if death is better than it; feeling as if eyeballs are coming out, does not like light, etc. Aconite 30 should be used to cure such symptoms.
1. Apis:- The eyelids of the patient get swelling, the internal part of the eyelids becomes red, warm water comes out from the eyes. Such symptoms of the eyes occur due to accumulation of blood in the eyes. When the patient washes his eyes with cold water, he gets some relief. To cure such type of symptoms, 3 potency of this drug should be used.
2. Rhus-tox:- The eyelids of the patient get swelling, the internal section of the eyelids becomes red and warm water goes on blowing from the eyes. These types of symptoms occur due to swelling of the eyes. When the patient uses warm foment, he gets some relief. To cure such symptoms of the patient, Rhus-tox 30 should be used. Apis and Arsenic can be used in a case of purulent ophthalmia.
3. Pulsatilla:- Using 30 potency of this drug is very effective to cure conjunctivitis, by that crop of, this disease gets cure. Following symptoms are also present in the patient suffering from this disease- concentrated yellow secretion or yellowish blue secretion from the eyes which does not give burning sensation; the eyes do not open in the morning due to pus, etc.
4. Euphrasia:- To cure this disease, Euphrasia 6 should be used. This drug acts better on the mucous membrane of the eyes and nose. So, this drug is very useful in the cases of catarrh and purulent ophthamia. The eyelids become swell and red from inside, small blisters and wounds appear there, concentrated secretion from the eyes which give burning sensation causes scratch on the cheek. If this disease occurs due to hurt in the eyes and presents above symptoms then disease can cure by the action of this drug.
5. Belladonna:- Violent pain starts in the eyes and the attack of this disease is unexpectedly, all the symptoms are raised up soon, the patient does not like light, as if the eyes have become big by swelling, the internal section of the eyelids becomes bright red. To cure such symptoms, using Belladonna 30 is very effective by that crop of, this disease is cured. This drug can be also used in the condition of accumulation of the blood in the eyes with pain in it.

Blepharitisa
Introduction:-
There are several types of problems the patient has to faces due to eyes disease. Sometimes the upper eyelids are swelled; sometimes the lower; sometimes blepharitis and sometimes the eyes become red. These types of swelling occurred near the eyes are called eyes swelling (inflammation of the eyes). To cure diseases related to inflammation of the eyes, drugs are described according to conjunctivitis.
Treatment of Blepharitis with different drugs:-
1. Aconite:- Aconite 30 is very useful in the initial stages of disease related to the eyes like- disease of the eyelids, eyeballs and conjunctiva. If any part of the eyes is sick in the condition of inflammation of the eyes, Aconite should be used.
2. Sulphur:- Sulphur 30 should be used if only the eyelids become swell and light is unbearable, pus like material is discharging from the eyes, etc.
3. Belladonna:- With the inflammation of the eyelids, it closed completely and if we tried to open, bleeding starts. Thus, this type of symptom is cured by the use of Belladonna 30.
4. Hepar sulph:- If the affect of Blepharitis is more and pus becomes accumulative inside the eyelids and blister appears there then it is called kalezion. This type of disease does not cure easily. To cure this disease, Hepar sulph 200 should be used.
5. Graphites:- If the patient is suffering from Blepharitis with different symptoms like- inflammation in the corner of the eyes, crackling in its corners due to much dryness and bleeding from these corners, etc. Thus, using 30th potency of Graphites provides benefit in this condition. Sometimes cartilage of the eyelids becomes too hard in the condition of this disease causes Ectropium and Entropium. Due to Entropium, the eyes feel sharp pain. Stye also occurs in the corners of the eyes. Thus, Graphites should be also used to cure this type of disease.
6. Alumina:- In the condition of Blepharitis with the dryness of the eyelids, like Graphite we can use 30th potency of Alumina drug as a result of it, this type of disease will be cured. Alumina acts greatly on the mucus membrane. In the condition of excessive dryness in the whole mucus membrane, this drug can be used to cure it. We can also use this drug in the condition of dryness in the nose, constipation, crackling of the eyelids’ edge due to dryness, feeling stiff eyelids due to excess dryness, etc. This drug is also very useful in the condition of entering pebbles in the eyes.
7. Argentums Nitricum:- If Thick scabs thicken on the eyelids with Blepharitis, pus secretes and the eyelids become hard, cornea is also obsessed due to inflammation of the hard eyelids; if the eyes feel as if something is pricking, etc. Thus, to cure such symptoms of disease, Argentums Nitricum 3 or 30 can be used. This drug should be also used in the condition of Blepharitis with red internal layer of the eyelids, discharging of pus from it, etc. The patient suffering from this disease is not able to sit near the fire.
8. Merc-sol:- With Blepharitis, the patient is not able to sit near the fire, pain in the eyes, the eyelids become thick, dilute burning water discharges from them, the wounds and small pimples appear here and there on the cheek due to secretion of this water, burning fluid like pus begins to flow as just open the eyes, etc. Thus, to cure such symptoms of the disease, we should use Merc sol 30.
9. Euphrasia:- Euphrasia affects the eyes much. The internal membrane of the eyelids get swelling, burning water discharges from the eyes and water also discharges from the nose, but burning sensation does not occur by this water. Thus, Euphrasia 3 or 6 should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient. This drug is also very useful like Agentum-nitricum for the dogs. But difference between this drug and Argentum-nitricum is that it is used in the condition of the patient in which burning water discharges from the eyes while Argentum-nitricum drug is used in the condition of the patient when burning water does not discharge from the eyes. We can also compare this drug with Merc sol. Both drugs are used in the condition of similar Blepharitis, due to exposure to cold, the eyelids get swelling, water discharges from it. But difference is that Merc drug is used in the condition of watery secretion from the eyes while Euphrasia is used in which, secretion from the eyes is not too thin (watery). Beside it, Merc is used to cure disease of the patient when he is not able to sit near the fire and when moist weather is also not suitable for him.
10. Sepia:- Using 200 potency of Sepia drug provides benefit in curing symptoms like- flowing pus from the eyes in the morning, eyes feels better in day time, the internal membrane of the eyelids begin to feel dryness in the evening, etc

Lids Swollen(Edematous)
Introduction:-
In this disease, swelling comes in either upper side eyelid or lower side eyelid.
Treatment of edematuous (lids swollen) by different drugs:-
1. Apis:- If the lower eyelids have swollen like water bag, Apis 30 should be used.
2. Kali-carb:- If the upper eyelids have swollen like water bag, to cure such symptoms, Kali-carb 30 or 200 should be used.
In this disease, swelling comes in either upper side eyelid or lower side eyelid.
Treatment of edematuous (lids swollen) by different drugs:-
1. Apis:- If the lower eyelids have swollen like water bag, Apis 30 should be used.
2. Kali-carb:- If the upper eyelids have swollen like water bag, to cure such symptoms, Kali-carb 30 or 200 should be used.
Photophobia
Introduction:-
In this disease, the patient does not bear too much light and eyes start to be dazzled.
Treatment of night blindness with different drugs:-
1. Belladonna:- The eyes become red, remains dry, water does not come out from them, the patient is not able to open his eyes well due to photophobia (unbearable light), and the face becomes red after swelling, the skin becomes red and hot, all the sense organs become unbearable even little touch does not bearable, the mouth and throat get dryness, but does not like to drink water, pain starts and goes, every things seemed colorful and the eyes become too red. Using 30 potency of this drug is very effective for the treatment of such symptoms.
2. Glonoine- If Belladonna makes no impression, 6 or 30 potency of this drug should be used.
3. Santonine- Colors do not visible and eyesight is ended suddenly. To cure the patient suffering from such symptoms, 2x potency of this drug should be used. The lower potency of this drug can give poisonous effects, so it should not be given to the children in the condition of fever or constipation.
4. Anhalonium- The super natural power (ghost) seems, horrible face seems, imaginary things seem which are very shiny. Thus, 30 potency of this drug should be used to cure such symptoms.
5. Phosphorus- All the things seem blur, seems as if someone is seeing him from a corner of the house and some from the other corner. To cure such symptoms, 30 potency of this drug should be taken.
6. Nux-vomica- If this disease has occurred due to over drinking (liquor) and by spending sensual night, using Nux-vomica 30 is very effective.
7. Rhus-tox:- The eyes of the patient are changed into red at night, light does not bearable, eyes become swell which secretes water, etc. To cure such symptoms of the patient, 30 potency of this drug should be used.
8. Euphrasia:- The light of earthen lamp (diya) and any other light are unbearable for the patient; water goes on coming out from the eyes continuously which gives burning sensation while this type of water which gives burning sensation begins to come out from the nose in catarrh. It is beneficial to use 3 or 6 potency of this drug for the treatment of such symptoms.
9. Aconite- If purulent ophthalmia has occurred by exposure to cold, is not able to open the eyes, light is unbearable, swelling and pain occur in the eyes, etc., 30 potency of this drug should be used.
10. Nux-vomica- If the patient is suffering from photophobia due to over drinking, Nux-vomica 30 should be used to cure such symptoms of patient.
11. Belladonna- 30 potency of this drug should be also used to cure photophobia occurred due to over drinking (liquor).
12. Rhus-tox- If the patient is suffering from photophobia (unable to bear bright light) and he has difficulty to open his eyes at night, Rhus-tox 30 should be taken to cure such symptoms of the patient.
13. Euphrasia- If the patient is suffering from photophobia, water begins to blow from the eyes as soon as he opens his eyes which give burning sensation on the cheek, etc., using Euphrasia 6 is very effective.
In this disease, the patient does not bear too much light and eyes start to be dazzled.

2. Glonoine- If Belladonna makes no impression, 6 or 30 potency of this drug should be used.
3. Santonine- Colors do not visible and eyesight is ended suddenly. To cure the patient suffering from such symptoms, 2x potency of this drug should be used. The lower potency of this drug can give poisonous effects, so it should not be given to the children in the condition of fever or constipation.
4. Anhalonium- The super natural power (ghost) seems, horrible face seems, imaginary things seem which are very shiny. Thus, 30 potency of this drug should be used to cure such symptoms.
5. Phosphorus- All the things seem blur, seems as if someone is seeing him from a corner of the house and some from the other corner. To cure such symptoms, 30 potency of this drug should be taken.
6. Nux-vomica- If this disease has occurred due to over drinking (liquor) and by spending sensual night, using Nux-vomica 30 is very effective.
7. Rhus-tox:- The eyes of the patient are changed into red at night, light does not bearable, eyes become swell which secretes water, etc. To cure such symptoms of the patient, 30 potency of this drug should be used.
8. Euphrasia:- The light of earthen lamp (diya) and any other light are unbearable for the patient; water goes on coming out from the eyes continuously which gives burning sensation while this type of water which gives burning sensation begins to come out from the nose in catarrh. It is beneficial to use 3 or 6 potency of this drug for the treatment of such symptoms.
9. Aconite- If purulent ophthalmia has occurred by exposure to cold, is not able to open the eyes, light is unbearable, swelling and pain occur in the eyes, etc., 30 potency of this drug should be used.
10. Nux-vomica- If the patient is suffering from photophobia due to over drinking, Nux-vomica 30 should be used to cure such symptoms of patient.
11. Belladonna- 30 potency of this drug should be also used to cure photophobia occurred due to over drinking (liquor).
12. Rhus-tox- If the patient is suffering from photophobia (unable to bear bright light) and he has difficulty to open his eyes at night, Rhus-tox 30 should be taken to cure such symptoms of the patient.
13. Euphrasia- If the patient is suffering from photophobia, water begins to blow from the eyes as soon as he opens his eyes which give burning sensation on the cheek, etc., using Euphrasia 6 is very effective.
Purulent Ophthalmia
Introduction:-
The ball (socket) which seems inside the eyes is called ‘Cornea’ in English. The mucus membrane of the eyes is a delicate membrane which surrounds sclera (white part of the eyes) and inner part of the eyelids. When this membrane becomes inflammable, it is called ‘Purulent Ophthalmia’.
Causes of purulent ophthalmia:-
Purulent ophthalmia can occur due to exposure to cold air, smoke, sunlight and by the entering of dust, dew in the eyes.
This disease can also occur due to hurt of the eyes by any means.
Purulent Ophthalmia can also occur due to measles, chickon pox and gonorrhea, etc.
Purulent Ophthalmia occurs due to virus or bacterial infection, allergy or by the entering heterogenous substance, etc.
Purulent Ophthalmia occurs due to entering smoke of tobacco, fountain (spray) of Erosal, in children due to stoppage of tears pipe.
Symptoms of Purulent Ophthalmia:-
In the condition of Purulent Ophthalmia, the eyes feels burning, sclera becomes red, the eyes discharge fluid like water and pus, the eyelids are stuck together, dirt comes out from the eyes, feels as if sand or thorn is pricking in the eyes causing pain in them, lacinating pain occurs in the eyes, does not like to see any light.
Use of different drugs for the treatment of Purulent Ophthalmia:-
1. Ferrum-phos:- 6x potency of Ferrum-phos drug should be used to cure the burning sensation of the eyes.
2. Belladonna:- Using this drug is very effective in the condition of becoming the eyes red and bright, pain, swelling of the eyes, feeling pain beside the eyes and the brain, becoming both the cheeks red, intolerable of light and sun heat.
3. Alumina:- 30 potency of Alumina drug should be taken if the eyes seem dry means tearless eyes.
4. Arum-met: Taking 6 potency of Arum-met drug is useful to cure eyes disease occurring due to heat.
5. Merc cor:- If cornea has suffered from wounds, 3 potency of Merc cor drug should be given to the patient at an interval of 4-4 hours.
6. Aconite:- If the patient is suffering from vat disease, spermatorrhoea, burning sensation of the eyes occurring due to cold with low fever and pain in the eyes. If pain is not cured, the eyes should be washed by 0.52 g Borasic acid after mixing 28 ml water in it. If the burning sensation of the eyes does not recover within 48 hours, the eyes should be washed from 10 drops of Euphrasia drug after mixing it in 28 ml water. Most of the patient use 6 or 30 potency of sulphur to cure this type of symptoms. 3x or 6 potency of Aconite drug should be also used to cure such symptoms. If Aconite drug makes no impression and there is no additional pus in the eyes, using 6 potency of Rhus-tox drug is benefited for the patient.

9. Apis-mel:- 30 potency of Apis-met should be taken in the condition of discharge additional pus from the eyes, intolerable of light, burning sensation and itching sensation in the eyes, pain like pricking needle in the eyes and swelling of the eyelids, etc.

Euphrasia:- If the patient is suffering from red eyes, intolerance of light, excess watery discharge from the nose and the eyes, pain in the eyes, sneezing again and again, appearing small pimples in the sclera (white part of the eyes) and region near the eyelids, discharging pus like substances from the eyes and thickens the layer like pussy thread before the eyes which causes difficulty in seeing, etc., the patient should wash his eyes with 10 drops of Euphrasia after mixing it in 30 ml of water.
11. Pulsatilla:- 3 or 30 potency of Pulsatilla drug should be used in the condition of new or old burning sensation of the eyes and which occurs in the eyes due to gonorrhoea.
12. Arjentum Nitricum:- In the condition of over discharging of pus from the eyes, burning sensation in children eyes, discharging yellow pus from the eyes with old burning sensation of the eyes, etc., the patient should use 3 or 30 potency of Arjentum Nitricum drug in such symptoms of the sufferer.
13. Hepar-Sulphur:- Use of 6 or 30 potency of Hepar-sulphur drug is beneficial in the burning sensation of the eyes occurred due to spermatorrhoea, pain becomes unbearable by touching the eyes, pain and cold does not bearable, etc.
14. Nitric-acid:- 6 or 200 potency of Nitric-acid should be taken to remove the burning sensation of the eyes occurring due to heat and gonorrhea, etc.
15. Jekwiretty:- Drop 3x potency of Jekwiretty drug after mixing with water in the eyes in the condition of burning of the eyes due to discharging of pus as well as burning sensation on the face and the neck, burning sensation due to pimples in the eyes, etc.
16. Sulphur:-
If the patient is suffering from burning of the eyeballs and appearing red round wounds around it, pain in the eyes like pricking needle which aggravates by entering water in the eyes, etc., 3 or 30 potency of Sulphur should be used in such symptoms.
3 or 30 potency of sulphur should be used in the burning sensation of the eyes occurring due to scrofula.
6 or 30 potency of Merc-Sol should be used in the condition of appearing small beads on the sclera. If these types of beads appear in the eyes with burning sensation then 6th potency of Puls or 30 potency of Sulphur should be used. The patient should use 3 or 30 potency of Arjentum-nitricum in the condition of discharging pus from the eyes with burning sensation in them. To cure burning sensation of the eyes, the patient should wash his eyes with 2 drops of Arjentum-nitricum drug after mixing it in ½ ounce water.
In addition to above said drugs, other drugs are also used to get quick benefit in the diseases which act well and cure diseases soon. These are as follow:- 6 potency of Phos, 6x potency of Calcarea-Iod or 6 potency of Calc-carb, 6 potency of Gels, 6 potency of Silica, 6 potency of Staphysagria, 6 potency of Arsenica, 6 potency of Zincum, etc.
Precautions in Purulent Ophthalmia:-
Fish and sweet preparations should not be eaten.
Light meals should be taken.
The patient should keep his bed clean.
The eyes should be cleaned with rose water or light hot milk.
Pain of the eyes is ameliorated if the patient washes his eyes with 520 mg Alum or Borasic-acid after mixing with 30 ml of water properly.
Other people should not use the patient’s things like- hanky, towel, etc.
The patient should always use black specs.
Pad should not be used because infection can increases more in the eyes due to heat of the pad.
Wash your hands before touching the eyes.
Avoid going in the room filled with smoke, the environment full of dust or those by which eyes troubles increase.
Use your own towel or hanky and do not give them to the others.
Clean softly the tears pipe of the eyes.
Massage the lower eyelid slowly.
Grind the leaves of cabbage and squeeze to get its juice then mix 1-2 drops of this juice with honey apply on the eyes. It cures purulent ophthalmia.
Cold water or ice should not be used on the eyes.
The eyes should be covered with yellow or green pieces of clothe.

3. Merc-cor:- 6 potency of Merc-cor drug should be taken at an interval of 4-4 hours to cure fistula of the eye.

Use of different drugs to cure diseases related to the eyes:-
1. Arum-met:- If the patient is suffering from pain around the eyes, Arum-met 6x (powder) or 200 should be used to cure such symptoms.

15. Clematis:- If the eyes become dry, red and warm; pain with burning sensation in the central part of the eyes, pain is aggravated in cold or at night, water begins to roll down from the eyes, etc., 3 potency of Clematis should be used to cure such symptoms.
16. Crotalus:- Use of 3rd potency of Crotalus is very effective in the condition of bleeding from the eyes, becoming the eyes yellow.
17. Gelsemium:- If the patient is suffering from quivering of the eyes muscles or uncontrolled, vertigo and less vission, wideness of the eyeballs and neuralgic pain of the eyes, etc., Gelsemium should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
18. Natr-mur:- 12x (trituration) or 30 potency of Nat-mur should be used in the condition of teary eyes, water rolls down from the eyes and aggravates while coughing.
19. Pulsatilla:- If the eyes have become red, water is rolling down from the eyes in the vacant place or cold air and yellow secretion is discharging from the eyes, etc., 6 potency of Pulsatilla drug should be used to cure such symptoms.
20. Prunus-spynosa:- Prunus-spynosa is the best drug to cure eyes pain. If there are no any wounds except pain found in the eyes, mother tincture of Prunus-spynosa drug should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
21. Platina:- If something is appearing (visible) small compared to its actual length or width, 6 potency of Platina drug should be used to cure such symptom.
22. Platenum:- If the patient is suffering from wounds, pimples on the eyelids, sty in the corner of eyelids, etc., to cure such symptom of the patient, 5 drops of the mother tincture of platinum drug should be mixed in 14 ml water and then the eyes should be washed with it. it cures cataract.
23. Physostigma:- If the eyes crackle and feels pain that does not eliminate by the use of spectacles, 3 potency of Physostigma drug should be used to cure such symptoms.
24. Fluoric-acid:- If the patient is feeling as if the cold air is affecting the eyes, 6 potency of Fluoric-acid drug should be used.
25. Belladonna:- If the eyes are not able to tolerate even little light, they become red, feels pain like dripping something in it, effects of pain moves to the head, etc., 6 potency of Belladonna drug should be used to cure such symptoms.

Rhus-tox:- If the patient is suffering from swelling of the eyes or the region around it, rolling down hot eyes drops, feeling heavy and stiff eyelids, swelling of the eyes due to excess wetting in the water or living in moist place, etc., use of 6 potency of Rhus-tox drug can provides benefit in such symptoms of the patient.

Ruta:- 3 potency of Ruta drug should be used to cure the patient if he is suffering from red eyes due to sewing, reading or those work by which, the eyes get pressurized, eyes pain, burning sensation in the eyes caused by reading in dim light, feeling like green circle before the eyes at night, headache due to reading or viewing something by giving pressure on the eyes, etc.

Use of different drugs to cure diseases related to the eyes:-
1. Arum-met:- If the patient is suffering from pain around the eyes, Arum-met 6x (powder) or 200 should be used to cure such symptoms.
2. Arjentum-nit:- Use 3 potency of Arjentum-nit if the eyes have stuck or pus is discharging or the snake is hanging before the eyes, etc.

17. Gelsemium:- If the patient is suffering from quivering of the eyes muscles or uncontrolled, vertigo and less vission, wideness of the eyeballs and neuralgic pain of the eyes, etc., Gelsemium should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
18. Natr-mur:- 12x (trituration) or 30 potency of Nat-mur should be used in the condition of teary eyes, water rolls down from the eyes and aggravates while coughing.
19. Pulsatilla:- If the eyes have become red, water is rolling down from the eyes in the vacant place or cold air and yellow secretion is discharging from the eyes, etc., 6 potency of Pulsatilla drug should be used to cure such symptoms.
20. Prunus-spynosa:- Prunus-spynosa is the best drug to cure eyes pain. If there are no any wounds except pain found in the eyes, mother tincture of Prunus-spynosa drug should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.
21. Platina:- If something is appearing (visible) small compared to its actual length or width, 6 potency of Platina drug should be used to cure such symptom.
22. Platenum:- If the patient is suffering from wounds, pimples on the eyelids, sty in the corner of eyelids, etc., to cure such symptom of the patient, 5 drops of the mother tincture of platinum drug should be mixed in 14 ml water and then the eyes should be washed with it. it cures cataract.

Use of different drugs in the coagulation of blood in the Retina:-
1. Aconite:- If the blood has coagulated in the retina due to cold water or air, use of 30 potency of Aconite drug is very effective.
2. Santonine:- If the patient is facing more difficulty due to accumulation of the blood in the retina and having difficulty in seeing due to doing fine work or stress of the eyes, using 3x or 30 potency of Santonine drug provides benefit to the patient.
3. Cactus:- Use 30 potency of Cactus drug to end accumulation of the blood in the retina. This drug is also used to cure heart diseases.
4. Pulsatilla:- If the blood has coagulated in the retina due to any disordering of menses, 30 potency of Pulsatilla drug should be used.
5. Diyubanyasia:- If the red spots seem as flying in the vision area (in front of the eyes), 30 or 12 potency of Diyubanyasia can be used to cure such symptoms.

4. Kali Iodide:- If the patient is suffering from syphilis due to swelling of the retina, 30 potency of this drug should be used to cure such disease.
5. Apis:- If aluminum is coming with urine due to swelling of the retina and eyelids; swelling seems on every where on the body, feeling less thirst and the lower section of the retina filled with water, etc., 30 potency of this drug should be used.
6. Arsenic Album:- If almunium comes in the urine with swelling of the retina, the patient feels restless that is aggravated at midnight, etc., use of 30 potency of Arsenic Album is very useful to cure such symptoms of the patient.
7. Gelsemium:- If the patient is suffering from bleeding from the retina, white flecks appears on the retina, 30 or 200 potency of this drug should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient. This drug should be used every week for 2 months and then use 1M at an interval of 15 days.

1. Arnica:- 1M of this drug should be used in the condition of retinal hemorrhage caused by hurt of the eyes by any way.
2. Hamamellis:- If the patient is suffering from bleeding from the eyes, use of 6 potency of this drug is very effective. This drug is also used to cure hemorrhoids.
3. Phosphorus:- If the patient is suffering from eyes bleeding, using 30 potency of this drug provides benefit.
4. Lachesis:- Lachesis is more useful in the condition of hemorrhage in the retina. Bleeding is stopped by the use of this drug and swelling does not occur too. This drug is known to be very useful in the swelling of retina and eyes nerves, coagulation of the blood and hemorrhage, etc.

The eyes are precious for us, so we should care them properly. Several types of eyes diseases can occur if we did not care the eyes properly. Thus, it is so necessary to care the eyes to protect them from various diseases.
What should we do or not for caring the eyes:-
We should not do such work, by which the eyes get tired, so do not harass the eyes.
It is necessary to give rest to our eyes after a certain gap of time while reading or working on the computer. We should not work on computer for more than 2-3 hours.
If dust or dirty particles have entered into the eyes, blink the eyes up and down for a while to remove them and splash water on the eyes resulting dust and dirt will remove out.
Blink the eyes up and down for few hours daily, by this activity moisture persists in the eyeballs.
Cry bitterly is very useful for the eyes, the brain and the lungs.
Do not touch the eyes with the dirty fingers.
Wash your eyes with clean cold water daily before going to bed at night.
Appropriate exercise should be taken to maintain the strength of the eyes muscles.
Natural light is good for the eyes compared to the light of T.V, computer and bulb. So, we should not sit in front of these lights.
Light should be come from the left side while reading or writing.
Goggles should be used while working in the dusty or smoky environment or driving in the sunlight.
There should be appropriate light in the room while watching T.V at night.
