This drug acts especially on the glandular structure, respiratory tube and circulatory systems. This drug collects the white cells that are present in the blood and increases life force which fight against diseases as the result of it, bacteria are destroyed which cause diseases. This drug should be prescribed in signs as lead poisoning, shivering in the body, desire for cold air, etc.
This drug should be prescribed if the patient has problems of anxiety caused by burning sensation for a long time. This drug acts on the swelling of the joints and tissue joints. This drug is used to cure plague, goitre, abnormal vasoconstriction, capillary congestion, bleeding, disorders related to nutrition, etc.

This drug is used in nasal symptoms as sneezing, dry catarrh, catarrh secretion in open air, unaccepted fever, warm catarrh secretion from the nose and high temperature of the body, pain in the front portion of the nose and pain in the nose root, chocked nose, wounds on the body, inability to trace smell, nose bleeding due to blood pressure, etc.

Symptoms related to the heart:
This drug should be prescribed if the patient feels shivering and pain around his heart and feels as if his heart is being squeezed by a hard object, weakness, unconsciousness, low heartbeat and tachycardia etc.
Symptoms related to the mouth:
This drug should be used in symptoms as bleeding from the gums due to looseness of it, excess saliva with offensive secretion, offensive smell of mouth blisters, the enlargement of the throat tonsil, offensive saliva, thick crust on the tongue etc.
Symptoms related to the throat:
This drug should be prescribed in symptoms as feeling contraction in the throat, deafness caused by ear disease, feeling contraction in throat as well as throat swelling and swelling of the maxillary glands etc.

This drug is used to alleviate symptoms as hardness and swelling of the testicles, and hydrocele, testicles dryness and lack of sexual vigour etc.
Gynaecology symptoms:
This drug should be prescribed in gynaecology symptoms as weakness due to menstruations, irregularity of menstruations, bleeding from the uterus membrane, swelling of the ovary, stinging pain, contraction of the breasts glands, tumour on the breasts skin, and greasy, thick and intensive leucorrhoea secretion like acid from the vagina which could make hole in the clothes and stinging pain in the right part of the ovary etc.

Supplementary:
Lycopodium and Badiaga are the supplementary drugs of Iodum.
Dosage:
3rd to 30th potency of this drug is used. Raw stuff may be used in case of using this drug as solution.
Besides it, taking 10 drops of a remedy thrice a day that is prepared by mixing iodised solution of potassium Iodetum with 28 millilitres of water, and 2.08 grams potash and 0.26 grams Iodine together destroys stomach worms and throws them out.
