Chronic Catarrh
Introduction:-
In the condition of sperm defects due to getting much cold, thickening dust particles in the breathing pipe (trachea) and syphilis, catarrh becomes chronic which is called chronic catarrh. There are two types of chronic catarrh- aggravating stage of catarrh and chronic catarrh.
Aggravating stage of catarrh:-
In this case, the fiber and membranes inside the nose is enlarged due to chronic swelling of mucus membrane of the nose due to which, the patient feels difficulty in breathing. In this disease, watery secretion secretes from the nose in enough quantity. Sometimes one nostril and sometimes both the nostrils are closed due to this secretion. The nose and the throat secretes watery secretion, for bringing out, the patient has to expectorate. In this stage of catarrh, patient feels headache, his hearing power starts decreasing and has symptoms of neuralgia.
Chronic stage of catarrh:-
In chronic stage of catarrh, the mucus membrane inside the nose is swollen and stinky secretion secretes from the nose. When aggravating stage of catarrh becomes chronic, it is called chronic stage of catarrh. Secretion becomes scabs inside the nose after drying up. Blood also comes with this secretion. Smell goes on coming out from the nose and patient’s smelling power is affected (becomes low).
Disease and drugs used in it:-
1. Pulsatilla- Chronic catarrh attacks again and again after acute catarrh. Concentrated green or yellow secretion secretes from the nose, having lack of tasting and smelling ability. Smelly mucus secretes from the nose. The symptoms of disease become aggravated in the evening and in a hot room. Thus, Pulsatilla 6 or 30 should be taken.
2. Kali sulphur- In chronic catarrh, if the disease has ameliorated after giving Pulsatilla and only whirring sound produces in the throat with catarrh, Kali sulphur 3 or 12 should be taken.
3. Lycopodium- In the chronic stage of catarrh, this drug is very useful. In this disease, the patient has to take breath through the mouth at night due to closing the nose. So, Lycopodium 30 should be used.
4. Sticta- Sticta 1x or 3 should be taken in the symptoms like- closing the nose, feeling pain on the forehead above the nose, remaining the nose dry, forming scabs inside the nose, having dry cough, aggravating cough by taking breath etc.
5. Kali-bicrome- If concentrated, tough and thready phlegm secretes from the nose; feels pressure in the nose root; scabs are form inside the nose; wound has appeared inside the nose and smell comes out from the nose etc., Kali bichrome 3x or 6 should be taken.
6. Kali-Iod- If concentrated, tough, greenish black or yellow and thready phlegm secretes from the nose; feels pressure in the nose root etc., taking Kali-Iod 30 or its mother tincture is beneficial. This drug is used to cure disease that is originated by the additional use of mercury.
7. Antim-tart- The patient has cough that produces whirr sound and feels as if phlegm is collected in the throat, to remove out that phlegm, he has to expectorate. He starts panting while coughing, feels nauseate and vomiting with hoarseness. Thus, taking Antim tart 6 or 30 is beneficial in such types of symptoms.
8. Arum-met- Due to catarrh, wound is appeared in the nose slowly; scabs are formed inside the nose. Due to wound inside the nose, it is closed, by which the patient feels difficulty in breathing. Concentrated smelly secretion secretes from the nose, due to which, wound is appeared in the nose bone and he remains sad all the time and he has desire to commit suicide. Thus, using Arum-met 6x or 200 is very effective to cure this disease.
9. Hepar-sulphar- In chronic catarrh, the nose is closed just after touching cold water. Thus, the patient should take Hepar sulphur 30 in such symptoms. Few other drugs can be also used in addition to above said drugs, which are as follow- Psorinum 30, Ars Iod 6x, Calca carb 3, Sulphur 30, Hydrastis 6, Nitric-acid 30, Nux-vomica 30, Phosphorus 6, Sepia 30, powder of Merc-proto 6x, Silica 30 etc.
Few other treatments with the use of different drugs:-
The suffered person should walk in the open air and should take bath with cold water daily in the morning, because it makes the body capable to tolerate the cold.
Few other drugs can be also used in addition to above said drugs, which are as follow- Psorinum 30, Ars Iod 6x, Calca carb 3, Sulphur 30, Hydrastis 6, Nitric acid 30, Nux vomica 30, Phosphorus 6, Sepia 30, powder of Merc proto 6x, Silica 30 etc.

Sinus
Introduction:-
Sinus means cavity (hole). A hollow place is located in the bone above the eyebrow, is called ‘Frontal Sinus.’ There are two types of pointed bones emerging on both sides of the cheeks that connect with the bone cavities of the head through internal cavities. In the condition of catarrh, fibers are thickened in these cavities resulting pain originates in the left or right side of the head or in the emerged bones of the cheeks etc. It is called Sinus pain that is worse case of catarrh. In this disease, catarrh and headache goes on persisting together. It is due to swelling in the membrane inside the nose. Sinus goes on spreading around the facial bones, the eyes and the nose. It is a type of normal disease.
Cause:-
This disease occurs due to virus, bacteria or fungus infection. It attacks in the upper section of the breathing tube (trachea). Appearing boils and allergy are the main reason of this disease. Animal dung, smoke and pollution are also the reasons of this disease. It also occurs due to changing weather, taking bath with polluted water, traveling by airoplane during infection in the upper section of the breathing tube and tonsillitis etc.
Symptom:-
Symptoms like- stoppage of the nose, secretion from the back part of the nose, feeling pressure in the back part of the eyes, feeling heavy face, headache and persisting low fever and feeling pain in the throat etc. are found in this disease.
Few other treatments with the use of different drugs:-
Sinus patient should take vapour from the nose and then foment with lukewarm for opening the nose and gargle with lukewarm water and take enough beverage.
Sinus occurs easily in a diabetes patient, so keep diabetes under control by proper treatment.
This disease is also caused by living near the patient suffering from cold and catarrh.
The patient should sneeze with keeping the handkerchief on the mouth every time.
Wash your hands well before and after eating and drinking.
Remove the bandage tied on wound after wetting it with lukewarm water and then clean wound with dry cloth. Now, add 6 drops of the mother tincture of Calendula in 20 grams water and immerse a piece of cloth in this water and then tie it on wound.
Cleaning wound with the mother tincture of Hydrastis is very useful.
Take eatables that enhance strength in the body and cure the disease.
The patient should take vitamin ‘C’ and ‘A’.
Take fruits and green vegetables.
Do not take harmful and eatables containing artificial color.
Do not smoking and do not live in polluted environment.
Do not take bath with dirty water because there is a possibility of occurring this disease.
The suffered person should not travel by air rout.
Take exercise regularly because it enhances disease resistance ability that protects us from cold and other types of infections.
The patient suffering from wounds should take chapatti of coarse ground flour, milk pudding, pulses, soup etc.
Taking meat, fish, sour thing, sweet things etc. is very harmful.

Sneezing is not a disease but excessive sneezing becomes the cause of trouble for a person. As we cough to lighten the lungs in the same way sneezing is necessary to lighten the head. No need to be worried if a person sneezes two or four times but excessive sneezing becomes a disease.

1. Allium Cepa- If the patient is suffering from sneezing especially by entering in the warm and cold room, Allium Cepa should be taken to cure such symptoms. If he suffers from profuse sweat that generates burning sensation with catarrh; water comes out from the eyes without burning sensation but the nose feels burning sensation, Allium Cepa should be used. If watery secretion secretes from the eyes and the nose, taking Euphrasia instead of Allium Cepa is very useful.
2. Nux-vomica- This drug is used in the condition of cold and catarrh. If catarrh has caused by exposing to cold, the nose has blocked, mucus secretes from the nose in the day time and dried up at night. In such catarrh, sneezing comes much etc., Nux-vomica 30 should be used to remove such symptoms.
3. Gelsemium- If the patient suffers from much sneezing with catarrh, he is in deep sleep, the body's muscles have become cold and sometimes the body feels little cold and sometime additional cold etc., taking Gelsemium 3 is very useful.
4. Silicea- If this disease has become chronic, using Silicea 30 is very effective for the treatment of such symptoms.
5. Natrum-mur- If the patient goes on sneezing all the time, watery secretion comes out from the nose, occasionally nose blowing, he goes on feeling cold etc., Natrum-mur 30 should be taken.
6. Carbo-veg- If the patient feels as if sneeze is about to come, but it does come, Carbo-veg 30 should be taken.

Enlargement of the Fiber Situated in Between Nose and Throat
Introduction:-
When the fiber located in the back part of the throat where the respiratory tube meets becomes enlarge, the patient feels difficulty while taking breath (inhaling) from the nose. Mostly, this disease is found in the children. Due to this disease, physical and mental growths of the children are stopped and they start to become weak and thin. They become weak in study and are not able to understand any matter. For the treatment of this disease, using homoeopathic drug helps in proper physical and mental growth.
In this disease, drugs like- Calcarea-carb, Calcarea-phos, Baryta-carb, Baryta-Iod, Tuberculinum, Hepar, Psorinum and Sulphur etc. can be used for the treatment.
Treatment by different drugs:
1. Baryta-Iodide- Due to this disease, if mental growth of the children has stopped and tonsils have enlarged, Baryta Iodide 3x should be taken.
2. Baryta-carb- In the initial stage of this disease, taking Baryta-carb 30 is very useful. If the tonsils have enlarged in this disease, this drug should be taken.
3. Calcare-carb- If this disease has caused in fat and flabby child and he/she is suffering from other symptoms too like- sweating from the head and the legs at night, producing pus inside the ear etc., taking Calcarea-carb 30 to 200 is beneficial.
4. Tuberculinum (Bacillinum)- If a member of the family has suffered from T.B. and the children of this family have suffered from this disease, Tuberculinum (Bacillinum) 200 should be used for the treatment of such symptoms. This drug can be also used to cure Aidenoid. For the treatment of this disease, this drug should be used once in a fortnight (15 days).
5. Calcarea-phos- If a lean and thin child has suffered from this disease and the tonsils have enlarged, Calcarea-phos 3x to 30 can be given to the patient. This drug acts on the glands of the tonsils and the throat and cure disease.
6. Psorinum- If catarrh has caused and hard smell comes out and feels much cold etc., Psorinum 200 should be used for the treatment of such patient.
7. Hepar-sulphur- If pus has formed in Aidenoid patient, Hepar-sulphur 30 to 200 can be used.
8. Calcarea-Iodide- If the patient is feeling difficulty in breathing due to enlargement of the fibers related to the throat and the nose and several types of other symptoms have caused related to this disease, Calcarea-Iodide 3x is beneficial in the treatment of this disease.

10. Agraphis nutans- This drug acts better on Aidenoids. Choking the nose, enlargement of the tonsils, other diseases of the throat and the ear, additional secretion of mucus etc. thus, using Agraphis nutans 3 provides relief in this disease.

Nose related Diseases
Introduction:
According to homeopathic, there are 15 kinds of the nose diseases as – pinus, offensive smell form the nose, forming pus in the nose, coming out blood with pus from the nose, excess sneezing, coming out white, red and yellow dirty mucus from the nose, burning sensation in the nose and turning out air from the nose like smoke, swelling in the nose, breathing problems, etc.
Use of different drugs to cure diseases related to the nose:-
Red nose-
1. Bel- If the outer skin of the nose has changed into red, using Belladonna 2x is very effective.
2. Sulphur- If redness has appear on the outer skin of the nose due to swelling, using Sulphur 3x is beneficial.
3. Arum-mur or Fluoric acid- If nose swelling is chronic and the nose becomes red, Arum-mur 3 or Fluoric acid 3 should be used to remove this swelling.
4. Apis- If the outer skin of the nose has become red after taking his meals, using Apis 3x is beneficial.
5. Borax- Borax 3 should be used in the condition of red nose of the young women.
Appearing pimples filled with pus on the nose:-
1. Petroleum- In the condition of appearing pimples filled with pus on the nose, Petroleum 3 should be used.
Disease related to the nose root:-
1. Kali-bi- If the nose root feels pressure in it, Kali-bi 3 should be taken for its treatment.
2. Capsicum- If the pressure of the nose root is due to headache, taking Capsicum 3 is appropriate.
Disease of the front part of the nose:-
1. Amon-carb- If pimples have appeared on the front part of the nose, Amon-carb 3 helps to erase them.
2. Kali-brom- In the case of appearing pimples filled with pus on the front part of the nose, Kali-brom 3x is very effective for the treatment of such symptoms.
3. Borax- If boil has appeared on the front part of the nose with pain in it, taking Borax is appropriate.
4. Capsicum- If the outer skin of the nose has become red and feels pressure on it, Capsicum 3 should be taken for curing such symptoms.
5. Silicea- If the nose has become red with itching sensation in it, using Silicea 6 is very effective.
6. Oxalic acid- In the case of feeling burning sensation in the front part of the nose, Oxalic acid 3 should be taken.
7. Carbo-Animalis- If itching sensation is felt on the nose and has symptoms like stiffness, taking Carbo-Animalis 6 is very effective.
Pain of the nose (soreness):-
1. Graphites- If soreness has found with stiffness in the nose, take Graphites 6 and the lotion prepared with the help of this drug should be applied on the outer part of the nose at night before going to bed. It will provide relief.
2. Kali-bi- If pus is formed in the nose with pain or pimples filled with pus, using powder of Kali-bi 3x is very effective.
In the case of entering insects in the nose:-
If an insect or any other object has entered into the nose and does not comes out and start to decompose with foul smell, small tongs should be used to remove out that object.

1. Bel- If the outer skin of the nose has changed into red, using Belladonna 2x is very effective.
2. Sulphur- If redness has appear on the outer skin of the nose due to swelling, using Sulphur 3x is beneficial.
3. Arum-mur or Fluoric acid- If nose swelling is chronic and the nose becomes red, Arum-mur 3 or Fluoric acid 3 should be used to remove this swelling.

Appearing wounds in the mucus membrane of the nose, coming foul smell from the nose due to decomposition of wounds, mixing mucus in the blood, coming pus, becoming the nose membrane thin and thickening scab inside the nose etc. are the symptoms of this disease. Due to this disease, smelling ability of the patient is decreased.
Drugs that are used to cure disease:-
1. Luticum (Siphilinum):-
If nose boils have appeared due to syphilis, Luticum 200 should be used for the treatment of such patient.
2. Cadmium sulphur-
If a person has boils in his nose and having different types of other symptoms like- decomposition of the nose's bones and cartilage, appearing boils inside the nose, choking the nose and appearing wounds in the nose etc., using powder of Cadmium sulphur 3x or 3 to 30 is very effective.

If yellow or green coloured concentrated and thredy secretion secretes from the nose; feels as if mucus is falling in the throat from the nose; patient has to expectorate for removing out the phlegm chocked in his throat; phlegm is thickened in the back part of the throat etc., Kali-bicrome 3x or 30 should be taken.
In the initial stage of cold and catarrh, secreting additional water from the nose; the upper part of the nose becomes red with pain; the smelling ability of the patient is affected by the pressing of the middle part of the nose after additional secretion; smelly or bloody pus comes out from the nose, smell of meat washing water goes on coming out from the secretion etc. thus, taking Kali-bicrome 3 should be taken for the treatment of such patient.

In the case of pinus of the syphilis or T.B. patient, taking Arum-met 30 is very effective for its treatment.

Mostly, Epistaxis is caused by heat and in the children. The different drugs that are used in this disease- the power of Ferrum-Iod 3, Millefolium 3 or Ambra Grisea 3 etc.

Nose bleeding starts due to getting hurt in the head or the nose, entering anything in the nose, scratching in the nose, getting hurt in the nose bone, additional circulation of blood in the brain, lever disease, syphilis, doing hard work and coughing etc. sometimes, due to suppression of menstrual secretion, blood comes out from the nose. Piles stop bleeding and nose starts bleeding. Sometimes, it is also caused due to getting cold, sinusitis, appearing boils in the nose, diphtheria, coming fault in the wall located in between both the nostrils etc.
Nose bleeding can begins due to infectious fever like- flue, measles, dengue, respiratory disease, typhoid, malaria, high blood pressure, cancer, artery or bronchitis etc.
Bleeding begins from the nose due to lack of vitamins- 'C', 'B'-12, Fluoric acid and vitamin 'K' etc.

If blood comes out from the nose of a person due to congestion of additional blood in the brain, using Aconite 3x helps to cure this disease. In this condition, Belladonna 3x, Gels or Veretrum-vir 3x can be used.
2. Millefolium-
This drug is used to stop bleeding from any organs of the body. Take 3 potency of this drug in the case of nose bleeding and 2 drops of its mother tincture should be dripped in the nose. In the condition of tooth and nose bleeding, the mother tincture of Trilium should be used in addition to this drug.
3. Pulsatilla-
If menstrual secretion of a woman has suppressed and blood comes out from the nose instead of menstrual secretion, Pulsatilla 30 should be taken. It helps to cure nose bleeding and menstrual secretion becomes regular (normal).
4. Bryonia-
Using this drug in the case of nose bleeding is beneficial. If nose bleeding begins instead of menstrual secretion during menses, mostly in the morning that ameliorates headache, taking Bryonia 1x is very effective.
5. Pulsatilla, Bryonia, Sulphur or Podo
If blood comes out from the nose instead of menstrual secretion while menses; nose bleeding starts instead of bleeding from piles etc., using Pulsatilla or Sulphur 30 is very effective. In this condition, Bryonia 6 or Podo 6 can be also used.
6. Ammonia-carb-
If blood comes out from the nose in the morning while brushing or taking food, Ammonia-carb 6 should be taken for its treatment.
7. China-
Using China 3 to 30 is very effective in the case of nose bleeding due to much physical weakness.
8. Arnica:-
3 or 30 potency of this drug is used in the case of nose bleeding beginning due to getting hurt. This drug is also used to cure wounds forming due to burn or scratch.
If blood comes out due to getting hurt on the head or the nose, Arnica 3x should be used. It is very effective.
9. Secale-
In the condition of coming black colored blood from the nose, using Secale 30 is appropriate.
10. Lachesis or Arsenic-
If blood is coming out from the nose due to wounds in the nose after decomposed, Lachesis 6 or 30 or Arsenic 3 or 30 should be taken for its treatment.

If blood does not clot after coming out, taking Hamamellis 6 is very useful. In the condition of nose bleeding, few drops of its mother tincture should be dripped in the nose. It helps to stop bleeding.
If blood always comes out as clots, the patient should take Hamamellis 1x and 2-3 drops of this drug should be dripped in the nose.
13. Arum-Triphyllum-
If the nose feels dry itching inside it, due to which child goes on scratching all the time that causes bleeding, using Arum-Triphyllum 3 or 30 is very effective.
14. Merc-sol-
If blood like thread comes out from the nose and hangs, Merc-sol 30 should be taken. If nose bleeding begins in 15-16 years old children, this drug should be given. If blood is shiny, red colored or comes as flow etc., first of all, give Belladonna or Hamamellis to the patient. If both these drugs are failed, give Merc-sol 30 to the patient. It helps to stop bleeding.
15. Phosphorus-
If additional bleeding takes place (secretes) due to getting little hurt on the body or in the condition of bleeding from the other organs etc., using this drug is very effective. For this purpose, 30 potency of this drug should be used.
16. Ambrosia:-
In the case of nose bleeding, the mother tincture of Ambrosia should be taken.
In case of nose bleeding and throbbing pain in the head, using Belladonna 3 is very effective.
17. Nux-vomica:-
In the condition of nose bleeding due to constipation or taking additional alcohol, Nux-vomica 1x or 6 should be used.
If disease has cured by the use of above said drugs and has remained its few symptoms, use Ferrum-picricum 2x or 3x. It cures disease completely.
Other treatment of this disease with the use of different drugs:-
In this disease, wash the nose and the mouth with lukewarm water after adding salt in it. dirt that thickens in the nose will come out.
In the normal condition of epistaxis, dripping 1-2 drops of the mother tincture of Hamamellis helps to cure this disease.
Sometimes, washing the nose with lukewarm water is also beneficial.
If blood is coming out from the nose, keep both the hands up above the head. It helps to stop nose bleeding.
Inhale and exhale through the nose by closing the mouth, it also stops bleeding.
The icy cold water should be poured on the root of the nose and the neck.
In the condition of nose bleeding in motion, pouring cold water or icy water on the spinal cord helps to stop bleeding. If it makes no impression and the condition of the patient becomes bad, the nose should be closed with a piece of very soft cloth immediately.
Pure mustard oil should be dripped in the patient's nose, should take bath with cold water and should take nutritive, light and easily digestible food.

The patient should not take stimulant materials, liquor and smoking etc. Much physical or mental works should not be done too.

Tumors are smooth, soft, bluish white and changeable its place. Sometimes, pus is formed in these tumors, due to which patient is much troubled especially in breathing. Mostly, this disease occurs due to allergy, sinus and esprine etc.
Symptoms:-
The nose is blocked due to nasal polypus. Due to this disease, when the patient talks, seems as if he is talking with the nose. In this disease, patient breathes through the mouth due to having troubles in breathing through the nose. His mouth goes on opening and he feels trouble in swallowing thin things. In this disease, nostril in which tumors appears, the outer skin of that place is enlarged. He is not able to smell of anything due to tumors inside the nose. He feels headache and pain and heaviness near the nose.
Treatment by different drugs:-
1. Thuja- Thuja 30 should be taken for curing tumors and the mother tincture of Thuja should be applied in the nose.
2. Formica Rufa- In the case of appearing tumors in the membrane of the nose, 1x of this drug should be taken. It is beneficial.
3. Phosphorus- If tumors have appeared in the nose and blood comes out from it, Phosphorus 3 should be taken. It helps to stop bleeding and tumors are also cured.
4. Psorium and Teucrium- If nasal polypus becomes chronic, taking Psorium 30 is very effective. In this disease, the mother tincture of Teucrium also provides relief.
5. Sanguinaria:-
Taking 1x of this drug and applying powder of this drug is beneficial for nasal polypus.
In this disease, Calca-carb, Kali-bi, Merc-Iod and Opium can be also used.
Few other treatments with the use of different drugs:-
If the patient, suffering from this disease, having allergy with anything, he should avoid that allergic things.

When tumors appear in the membrane inside the nose due to any reason, it is called 'Nasal Polypus'. Tumors have swollen like a lump of mucus membrane. Tumors are smooth, soft, bluish white and changeable its place. Sometimes, pus is formed in these tumors, due to which patient is much troubled especially in breathing. Mostly, this disease occurs due to allergy, sinus and esprine etc.
Symptoms:-
The nose is blocked due to nasal polypus. Due to this disease, when the patient talks, seems as if he is talking with the nose. In this disease, patient breathes through the mouth due to having troubles in breathing through the nose. His mouth goes on opening and he feels trouble in swallowing thin things. In this disease, nostril in which tumors appears, the outer skin of that place is enlarged. He is not able to smell of anything due to tumors inside the nose. He feels headache and pain and heaviness near the nose.
Treatment by different drugs:-
1. Thuja- Thuja 30 should be taken for curing tumors and the mother tincture of Thuja should be applied in the nose.
2. Formica Rufa- In the case of appearing tumors in the membrane of the nose, 1x of this drug should be taken. It is beneficial.
3. Phosphorus- If tumors have appeared in the nose and blood comes out from it, Phosphorus 3 should be taken. It helps to stop bleeding and tumors are also cured.
4. Psorium and Teucrium- If nasal polypus becomes chronic, taking Psorium 30 is very effective. In this disease, the mother tincture of Teucrium also provides relief.
5. Sanguinaria:-
Taking 1x of this drug and applying powder of this drug is beneficial for nasal polypus.
In this disease, Calca-carb, Kali-bi, Merc-Iod and Opium can be also used.
Few other treatments with the use of different drugs:-
If the patient, suffering from this disease, having allergy with anything, he should avoid that allergic things.

When we breathe while sleeping, air passes touching by an organ named epiglottis. When wind finds no space to expel, the speed of breathing gets increased because of obstruction in breathing. Consequently, a kind of sound take birth and it is called snoring. There are several reasons of this problem as defective nose, allergy, swelling in the nose, thick tongue, artificial teeth that do not adjust properly in the gums, excessive smoking, use of wine or other intoxicating drugs and having too much meal at night, etc. Neither snorting is harmful nor a disease. When a person gets exhausted badly because of excessive work, he starts to snore.
A person should sleep by closing his mouth. The victim should sleep with a companion so that he may be informed by the companion when the victim starts to snore.
Disease and drugs that are used in it:-
1. Hippzanimum- If wound begins to decompose in the membrane inside the nose or chronic swelling inside the nose, due to which, he snores and he has become habitual of it, taking Hippzanimum 30 or 200 provides relief.
2. Lemna minor- If the patient snores due to obstruction in the nose, Lemna minor 1x or 3 to 30 should be used.

5. Borax- This drug is also used in the symptom of red nose of the young women. So, Borax 2 should be given to the patient at an interval of every 4-4 hours.
6. Sulphur-If the swelling of the nostrils have become chronic, taking Sulphur 30 is very effective.

In this disease, greenish yellow, white, thin or thick fetid like a thread secretion keeps on exuding from the nose. The patient gets lots of trouble. In this case, smelling power of a person gets reduced.
Treatment of fetid secretion coming out from the nose:-
1. Merc-sol- If yellow or green colored mucus secretes from the nose and it lefts spot after touching on the clothes; fetid pus comes out from the nose; symptoms of disease are aggravated in summer or rainy season. Thus, using Merc-sol 6 or 30 is very effective in such symptoms.
2. Kali-bicrome- If smelly, concentrated, greenish yellow and thready secretion comes out from the nose; wound is appeared on the layer between both the nostrils; swelling comes inside the nose and the head goes on paining etc., Kali-bicrome 3x or 30 should be taken in such symptoms.
3. Mezereum- If the nose becomes dry, scratching in the internal part of the nose and the smelling power is decreased etc., Mezereum 6 or 30 should be given to the patient.
4. Silicea- If smelling power has decreased in the patient, a hole is present in the layer between both the nostrils, the nose is blocked etc., Silicea 6 or 30 should be taken in such symptoms.
5. Pulsatilla- The smelling power is lost due to swelling of the mucus membrane inside the nose and concentrated secretion begins from the nose. Thus, for the treatment of such symptoms, Pulsatilla 30 should be used.
6. Argentums Nitricum- If the patient has lost his smelling power due to typhoid, using Argentum Nitricum 3 to 30 is appropriate.
7. Natrum-mur- If concentrated secretion is secreting from the nose with swelling in the membrane inside the nose, treat it with Pulsatilla. If it is failed, Natrum-mur 30 should be used. It will provide relief.
8. Arum-met- If smelling power has lost due to structure of the nose bone, chronic catarrh or presence of poison of syphilis in the blood etc., Arum-met should be used.
