Appendicitis
Introduction:-
Appendix tube of the stomach remains closed at one side viz if any foodstuff or other thing reaches in this tube, there are no other way to come out this thing. Inflammation occurs in the appendix of the stomach due to constipation, excessive use of meat and entangling a thorn of fish or a piece of small bone. This inflammation is called ‘Appendicitis’. Mostly, this disease takes young people in its grasp than children and old person and male than female. This disease also grasps carnivorous (non-vegetarian) easily. Severe pain occurs with inflammation. Sometimes pain becomes as dangerous as the patient is dead due to it. In this situation, entangled things are taken out with the help of operation of the appendix tube. These types of diseases occur due to eating much or having meal hastily (in hurry).
The disease named ‘Appendicitis’ was also known by the names of ‘Tiflitis’ and ‘Varitifijitij’ in ancient time. This disease originates due to indigestion. Mostly, this disease occurs easily in the patients of gout and rheumatism if they suffer from indigestion.
In appendicitis, pain occurs on the right side of the stomach and sometimes this pain persists constantly for many weeks if starts once. After that, the patient suffers from fever and intestinal diseases as pain aggravates gradually. This type of symptom is the initial symptom of this disease. This disease causes other diseases too in the lack of treatment or delay in treatment and the patient reaches at the mouth of death. It is a serious disease and operation is must for curing it. But if homeopathy treatment is used for curing it in its early stage, there is no need of operation. In this disease, the patient suffers from left side unbearable pain at the lower side of the stomach which aggravates if stomach is touched. Vomiting, severe fever and inflammation of the appendix are the other symptoms of it. Consult a doctor immediately. If this disease occurs again and again, there is only one treatment and that is operation.
Symptoms of appendicitis:
The symptoms of this disease are as fierce headache, unable in bearing fierce light, vomiting, coat on the tongue, constipation, gas in the stomach which does not eliminate, severe pain in the right side of the navel, temperature more than 100-104 degree and sometimes enlargement of the liver or spleen. For the treatment of such disease, homeopathy medicines are more useful.
Use of different medicines in several symptoms originating with appendicitis:
Acon: If the patient of appendicitis suffers from severe fever, he should take Acon 3x.
Belladonna: If such symptoms as headache, red face, pain like throbbing and improper work of mind with appendicitis, etc. are found in the patient, he can get relief soon by taking 3x potencies of Belladonna.
Bryonia alba: if the patient of appendicitis suffers from these symptoms as inflammation with pricking pain in the stomach which aggravates as the patient moves and constipation goes on persisting all the time, etc., he should take 6x potencies of Bryonia alba medicine for getting relief from all these symptoms.
Rhus toxicodendron: The symptoms of appendicitis patient in which pain reduces by moving, the use of 6th potencies of Rhus Toxicodendron proves very beneficial.
Mercurius corrosivus: If the symptoms of the patient of appendicitis are as yellow coating on the tongue, flatulence and wounds, the use of 6th potencies of Mercurius Corrosivus provides much relief.
Lachesis : If the patient of appendicitis suffers from these symptoms as biting pain in the right side of the stomach in which the patient is not able to bear even the touch of clothes near the waist and vomiting with fever, etc., he should take 30th potency of the medicine Lachesis for getting relief. If pain is like pricking with inflammation especially after vaccination or sensation of inflammation in the appendicitis, the use of 30th potency of the medicine Apis Mellifica proves more beneficial than the use of 30th potency of Lachesis. If the patient does not get relief by taking Lachesis or Apis mellifica, he should take 30th potency of the medicine Myris.
Arsenic: Sometimes the patient of appendicitis feels as if he will die due to pain and the patient suffers from these symptoms as constant desires for drinking water with red tongue and quenching thirst only by drinking little water. The patient tosses in the bed and he suffers from lethargy too. In this case, the patient should take 3x-30th potencies of Arsenic.
Magnesium phosphorus:- If the patient of appendicitis suffers from violent pain, he should take 2x potency of Magnesium Phosphorus with hot water at the interval of 10-15 minutes. Its use provides a lot of relief.
Hepar-sulphur: 6th potency of Hepar sulphur is used if pus makes in the intestines of the patient of appendicitis.
Merc-sol and Belladonna: In the case of appendicitis, the patient should take 3x potency of Merc-sol or 3x potency of Belladonna at an interval of 30-30 minutes. Its regular use provides a lot or relief.
Iris tenex: If the patient of appendicitis suffers from violent pain in the right side of the stomach and pain is increased if painful area is touched, he should take 3x or 30th potency of Iris tenex. Its use provides a lot of relief.
Mother tincture of Dioscorea: If the patient of appendicitis suffers from such symptoms as constant pain, gas problem in the stomach, torsion and getting relief by bending backward, etc., the patient should take few drops of the mother tincture of Dioscorea by mixing hot water in it. This medicine should take until pain ends. If the patient gets relief by bending forward, he should take 30th potency of Colocynth.
Merc-sol or Belladonna: If the patient of appendicitis suffers from violent pain, he should take 3x potency of Merc-sol and 3x potency of Belladonna regularly. Its use provides relief within few hours.
Lachesis: If the patient of appendicitis suffers from cutting pain in the right side of the stomach, flatulence, excessive irritation, feeling excessive pain if stomach is touched, etc., he should take 6x potency of Lachesis at an interval of 2-2 hours. 3x powder of this medicine should be taken with this treatment.
Lycopodium: The patient of appendicitis should take 1m of Lycopodium once in 15-20 days or a month if new diseases originate. If the patient of appendicitis suffers from such symptoms as pain in the right side which reaches towards urinary bladder, flatulence, aggravation of disease betweem 4-8 pm, desiring for sweet things and hot beverages, etc., he should take 1m of Lycopodium.
Besides it, the patient should take Lycopodium if the patient of appendicitis feels pain in the left side due to cold.
Use of other medicines in appendicitis:
Besides above medicines, the patient needs other medicine also. These medicines are as 3x potency of Veratrum, 6x potency of Colocynthus and 30th potency of Sulphur. 200x potency of Sulphur is used in the worse condition of this disease. Its use provides relief soon.
Treatment of this disease by some simple experiment:
The stomach should be fomented by filling hot water in a bottle. Lukewarm water should be drunk again and again. Operation is necessary if disease becomes worse.

Enteritis

There is a duodenum in our body under which intestines are present. There are two intestines in our body-small intestine and large intestine. The length of small intestine is 14 feet and the length of big intestine is four feet. Big intestine is fatter than the small intestine. Big intestine covers to the small the intestines spherically. There is an inflammation in both intestines when there is burning sensation in the stomach because of any reason.
Inflammation in the big intestines:
When inflammation occurs in the big intestines due to any reason and remains present for a long time, glutinous substance or mucous starts to come our from the intestines of the patient. Inflammation of the intestines is harmful. Inflammation in the big intestine is called blood loose motions (raktaamasya). For the treatment of this inflammation Homeopathic medicines are used. Inflammation of the intestines and medicines which are used for the treatment:
Hydrastic:
If the patient suffers from these symptoms as pain and cramps along with the inflammation in the big intestine, sensation of emptiness in the stomach all the time and mouth bitterness, the use of 1x potency of the medicine Hydrastic proves beneficial. Besides, the medicines merc, arsenic and colchikam end the inflammation of the intestines.
Note:
A person can become the victim of inflammation of the intestines if he uses decay and rotten things.

Duodenum is the frontal part of the small intestine here it means to say that the mouth of the small intestine is called duodenum. Duodenum is situated at the upper right side of the naval. Sometimes, there is wound or swelling in the small intestine which is called inflammation of the duodenum or ulcer of the duodenum.
Use of medicines for the treatment of inflammation or ulcer of the duodenum:
1. Arsenic albam: The patient feels restlessness if there is inflammation in the duodenum. Physical power reduces and body becomes loose. Besides it, the patient suffers from vomiting and inflammation in the stomach after eating. The patient should take 30th potencies of the medicine Arsenic Albam in all these symptoms. The patient gets relief by taking this medicine.
2. Podophyllum: the symptoms are as origin of different symptoms as excessive desire to drink cold water, vomiting of the food stuff taken by the person, black and greenish vomiting with bile, pain in the right side of the stomach and aggravation of the symptoms of diseases at 3 am, ulcer along with duodenum inflammation. Such patient should take 3-200 potencies of the medicine podophylum to get lots of relief.
3. Uranium nitricum: The patient should take 2x potencies of the medicine Uranium Nitricum in the condition of duodenum ulcer because this medicine provides relief soon in inflammation.
4. Ornithegalem Ambeletum, mother tincture: In the condition of duodenum ulcer, the patient should take two drops mother tincture of the medicine named Ornithegalem Ambeletum by mixing with sugar of milk. Its use provides relief in duodenum ulcer.
5. Sadium sulphor: The use of 3-30th potencies of the medicine Sadium Sulphor provides lots of relief if the patient suffers from carcinoma ventriculi of the duodenum.

Hernia
Introduction:-
There is a layer in the stomach which covers the intestines from each side which is called the ‘covering of intestines’. Testicles of the child contain in this covering before the birth but after birth they come down into scrotum. There are two holes at the place from where testicles come down. Sometimes, some part of the small intestine comes down into the testicles through these holes. It is called ingual Hernia. Sometimes, intestines come out through the hole of naval of the child. It is called ‘umbilical Hernia’. The condition in which a little portion of the intestine comes out through these holes is called Hernia.
Causes:
There are several causes of hernia. A person becomes the victim of this disease by several reasons as by lifting heavy weight, by stumbling suddenly, by coughing with pressure, weakness due to old age, constipation, by sneezing, by playing flute, by excessive riding, by excessive dancing, by excessive labour, by excessive cough at the time of loose motions, urination or delivery time and due to excessive pressure fall on the muscles of the stomach.
In all these conditions, some portion of the intestines comes out through the hole of naval. A severe pain creates when intestine entangles in the hole due to hernia. In this condition, the physician stretches the hole after putting the intestine inside but the disease takes birth again if the patient lifts heavy weight. Homeopathic medicines are necessary for the treatment of hernia.
Use of different medicines for the treatment of hernia:
1. Lycopodium: The condition of hernia in which the intestine comes down in the right testicle and the patient feels biting pain in the thighs and the sensation in which he feels that the testicle will come down through the hole from which the intestine comes down through the layer of stomach. In this condition, 1m of lycopodium should be taken once in fourteen days. Follow this treatment for 2-3 months regularly. The medicine Asculus provides relief in this condition too.
2. Nux vomica or coculas:
The condition in which the intestine comes down into the left testicle, the patient should take 30 potencies of the medicine Nux Vomica. Its use provides a lot of relief in this disease. If there is doubt of slipping down of the small intestine in the scrotum of testicles after waking up in the morning and the patient feels weakness near about the left thigh, the use of 30 potencies of the medicine Nux Vomica provides relief. As the medicine Nux Vomica provides relief in engual hernia as it provides relief in umbilical hernia of children.
If the use of the medicine named Nux Vomica does not provide relief, the use of 3-30 power of Coculus should be used. Its use provides a lot or relief.
3. Aconite or Lachesis:
These medicines are used in the condition in which the intestine entangles in the middle while coming down of the intestine into the testicles. The entangled intestine swells and the patient shows such types of symptoms as inflammation and pain, appearance of urticaria and cold sweating along with restlessness and nervousness. In this situation, the patient should take 30 potencies of the medicine named Aconite. Hernia with these symptoms is called strangulated Hernia. In this situation, the medicine Lachesis can be used. If the intestine decays and gives bad odor and the tissues starts to die, the use of 30 potencies of the medicine Lachesis provides a lot of relief but operation is the best option for its treatment.
4. Calcaris carb: When this disease can take fat and fleshy children in its grip, 30 potencies of the medicine Calcarea Carb should be given. The use of this medicine provides relief in the early stages of all types of Hernia. Homeopathic medicines are beneficial in all the stages of Hernia.
5. Isculus: When pain creates in the right side in Hernia, the use of 2x potencies of the medicine isculus provides relief. Besides it, 6-30 potencies of the medicine Lycopodium can be taken in place of Isculus if the patient suffers from such types of pain.
6. Plumbam: If the cause of hernia is constipation, the use of 6 potencies of the medicine plumbam provides a lot of relief.
7. Sulphuric acid: If the patient of this disease vomits very much, the medicine Sulphuric Acid should be given to the patient.
8. Belladonna: If the patient of this disease suffers from such symptoms as severe pain around the naval and flatulence, the use of the medicine Belladonna provides a lot of relief. Besides Belladonna, other medicines as Acon 3x, Ars 3x, Carbo Veg 6x, Cuprum 6x and Vire Alb 6x can be used.
9. Nux vomica: 3x potencies of the medicine Nux Vomica or 6 x potencies should be given to the patient of Hernia especially fat and fleshy children. If these medicines do not provide relief, operation can be adopted.
Treatment through normal experiment:
The intestine reaches at its right place by lying on back or by lifting both feet. Fomenting with hot water and drinking the mixture of sugar candy and sugar provides a lot of relief. Wearing girdle also provides a lot of relief.
